CELEBRATE ISLANDS is an annual event co-organized by the Conservatoire du littoral and the NGOs PIM and SMILO since 2014 that put forward and financially support management and conservation actions carried by and for small islands on an international scale. Blue has been its partner since 2022.

The objectives of the events are:

  • PROMOTING AND SHARING INITIATIVES CONTRIBUTING TOWARDS THE PRESERVATION OF THE ECOLOGICAL AND CULTURAL SPECIFICITIES OF SMALL ISLANDS AROUND THE WORLD TO CELEBRATE ISLAND ECOSYSTEMS AND THE ACTORS WHO ACT FOR THEIR PRESERVATION.

  • INITIATE A PROCESS FOR THE RECOGNITION OF AN ISLANDS INTERNATIONAL DAY.

In 2023, CELEBRATE ISLANDS is having its 10th anniversary . The video contest "My project in 120 seconds" was launched in April.
